Ryan replies, "Oh I just follow my friend around and he tries to make my life miserable." I don't even know what to say and as soon as he's finished speaking he turns and literally runs away. Hmmmm....I don't even know what to say about that or what to even think but I just laugh.

The Experiment

I've decided to conduct a little experiment about relationships, men, and sex. When it comes to men I've never been casual about it at all, I believe in being in love with the person that you call your boyfriend. I believe in only having sex with someone that you're in a relationship with and dating to figure out if he's 'THE ONE' and eventually the next step would be marriage. After several failed relationships and one failed marriage I'm starting to think that maybe my thinking about relationships and men are not correct and that I need to change things up. I started observing everyone else around me and how they interacted with their significant other and I wasn't impressed at all and in fact in most situations it made me thankful for being single. I saw too much conflict and in some cases it was obvious there was no love at all. This all made me think about how I want my relationship to be like with 'THE ONE' and that I want there to be real love and not just the puppy stage love either I wanted love that lasts a lifetime.

So I decided to be the opposite of what I used to be and test out my theory! Here are the rules: love the person for who they are, don't get attached, and don't fall in love. The key here is to completely live in the moment and enjoy every minute. So no analyzing whether he's good for me or not, and only think for the now and not the future. The way I look at it is that you can predict your future or who will stay in your life it all goes with the flow of the Universe, so why not just go with the flow and not try to control the outcome. If it's meant to be it will happen....or so I've been told.

I will start this little experiment tonight, let go of all my inhibitions and just be me free of all doubt and unnecessary thought. The plan is to have fun and enjoy what or who comes your way.
